The Buck Family is awesome. I've known Melissa for 7 years now, wow how time flies! This American girl is now at home more than ever in Canada with her bread growing husband and adorable step daughter. The Buck's were troopers during this cold & stormy shoot. The sky was so dark it felt like night, and the snow was coming down so quickly if you stood still too long you'd turn into a snowman. So glad they braved it, I love snowy family photos!

 In honor of American Thanksgiving, I am posting about my favorite Canadian family living in the USA. Which also happens to be my sister & her family. I look forward to photographing the Ho's every year as it means I get to spend some quality time with them in sunny California. I am so incredible thankful for my sister and all of my family this Thanksgiving Day. I am also grateful for incredible friends & fans that keep my Facebook page lively, thank you for supporting me!

Another year of marriage for the Reeder's equals another photoshoot with me! I'm allowed to play favorites when I have been lucky enough to photograph this couple and their little girl a few times this past year. They definitely win the title of most loyal customer for 2013! I am so grateful for their business and the relationship we have developed because of it. Wishing T&C another year of bliss wrapped in each others arms - aren't they adorable?! Happy Anniversary!

 Golden hour success! We had great lighting just before the sun when down and the moon appeared. These kiddios were pretty chilly, but that didn't stop them from giving me great smile after smile! Always love heading out towards the mountains for photos and the Elherts were great models and made for great company!

Meet the Elford Family! This extended family photoshoot was smooth sailing! Had a great time reconnecting with the Elford family and photographing their growing family. Excited to be seeing a few of these faces in the winter come skiing season!

 The cooper family is back! And now a family of 4! Little baby girl was so full of heart melting smiles, what a cutie! Big brother Luke is already looking out for his little sister - he insisted on saving her from the leaves when she was berried in them - adorable! Always great to spend time with this fun family, thanks Coopers!

 It's hard to believe that it has almost been a year since I photographed Hillary & Steve's engagement photos (http://abbydell.blogspot.ca/2012/12/h-engagements-calgary-photographer.html)! I had a wonderful time photographing their wedding day in the perfect fall weather & colorful fall backdrop. Speaking of backdrops, they were all spectacular! Hillary's parents home was filled with great big windows and a backyard to die for - perfect for getting ready, The Sacred Heart Church was filled with dreamy details, and our formal location (I'll leave that a secret :) ) had picture perfect fall colors! Their reception at The Italian Club was so personable with many heartfelt speeches and good times on the dance floor. Once again, I had an incredible time with this awesome couple, wishing them all the best as newly weds! Cheers!
